I grew up in Cirencester, right in the heart of the Cotswolds, so returning with my twin boys for four summer nights felt very different from an ordinary family break. This time I was showing them the places I knew as a child – from Cirencester’s historic town centre and open-air swimming pool to the Cotswold Lakes and picture-perfect Bibury.
