So next week with the unpredictable weather and not wanting to be stuck in the house for 7 days straight with 304 snack requests why not get something booked. Give the iPads time to charge up and get out this half term.

Museum of Liverpool - Pier head

Open Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 6pm

This is free entry and the perfect half-term activity if you want something fun and educational for the kids. They have a “little Liverpool gallery” and this is open to under 6’s” which my kids love There is plenty more than just this to do though with so many amazingly interesting displays and galleries.

City Explorer bus - City Centre

This is a must if you’re short of ideas on what to do in Liverpool this half term. It’s cheap, it has 14 iconic stops that you can get on and off at. It gives you the best views of our gorgeous city and everything it has to offer and you get a live tour guide. This is perfect for younger and older kids. You can spend the full day just hoping on and off exploring. Use this as a good excuse to take in all the amazing shops, restaurants, cafes, museums and architecture this city has to offer.

Beatles Story - The Royal Albert Dock

Why not take the kids down to The Beatles story on the Albert dock for some half term fun. The Beatles story is celebrating 60 years of the hit single Love me do. They have lots of Love me do themed activities in the Discovery zone next week from learning about pop art, creating your own Love me do record sleeve and even celebrations for George Harrison’s birthday.

Space, The Universe and Everything - Liverpool Cathedral

From 18th to 27th February, you can immerse yourself in space. This amazing event sees the iconic Liverpool Cathedral transformed with some amazing artwork that’s will be projected across the amazing architecture which will only highlight its beauty. This amazing installation is set to music and has been beautifully created by Luxmuralis.

Potterpool at Otterspool adventures

From 19th – 27th February, Otterspool adventures has been magically transformed into any Harry potter fans dream. They are inviting everyone from wizards witches and muggles down to enjoy some spellbound fun this half term. Its a ticketed even so check out their website linked below for details.

Everyman Cinema - Metquarter

Monday – Sunday – check listing & times.

It looks like it could be a very wet and windy half term so why not take the kids to the cinema this half term? The Everyman based in the metquarter in Liverpool isn’t your usual cinema. It has everything from sofas to an amazing food menu and you can eat while watching your film. They also have the most amazing milkshakes. This is 100% something the whole family can enjoy together.

On the green - Liverpool One

Are you a golf widow? This could be a perfect one for a boys day out. If you have a dad and lad looking for something to do during half-term together check out on the green in Liverpool one.

Readers org Story barn - Calderstone park

This amazing space set inside Calderstone park is dedicated to learning and fun educational fun. They have lots of Activities this half-term but tickets sell out fast. They have indoor & outdoor activities and there are currently having some renovations to the story barn just in time for half term and I’m so excited to see it.

Acorn Farm - Kirkby

February half term 9am – 4pm

This lovely little farm in Kirkby is so much fun. If your kids are into farm animals they are going to love this. So get the puddle suits and wellies on go have some farm yard run. They have hot food and drinks available at the onsite cafe. This is acessable for wheelchair and pram users with lots of parking available. If you’re a last minute larry like me don’t worry because you don’t need to book.

Yellow Sub - Brunswick docks

February Half term 10 am -6 pm (no booking required first come first served)
If the rain and wind don’t seem to be giving up this half term and you’re all going a little bit crazy indoors then why not get the kids out for the day and burn off some energy at Yellow sub. This soft play is perfect for all ages and the toddler area is a great size. They also do some amazing food here too so you don’t even have to cook, as you’re probably sick of all the “snacks” you have had to administer already.

Bounce house - Brunswick docks

Another perfect rainy day activity, so if you fancy going to get a coffee and chill out while the kids lose their mind on the coolest bounce castle you have ever seen then this is perfect. check out their website or socials for any half-term deals or events.
