Our UK-wide Girl About Blog Squad
Girl About started out in 2018 as a growing network of UK bloggers and today there are 25 women across the UK who make up the Girl About Blog Squad – flying the flag for their towns, cities, counties and regions across the UK.
If you love uncovering all those hidden gems in your hometown and you would be nothing short of honoured to fly that flag high for your neck of the woods, start by checking if we need you in your city/county – CLICK HERE*
While some areas are already covered at county level, we are also looking for women to represent their cities and towns so please get in touch if you think you can bring something else to the table. We are really keen to talk to women who can bring more diversity to Girl About.
Part of our mission is to help our Blog Squad push through comfort zones and smash their limiting beliefs when it comes to writing, so don’t let anything that you think may hinder your chances of being involved get in your way of applying. A passion for writing, and the drive and determination to succeed is most important. We can teach you the rest.
Of course it goes without saying that a good command of the English language is really important, but we welcome women with neurodiversity, because the writing is just one small part of what makes a brilliant blogger and an exceptional local influencer.

We are seeking local and regional Girl About Blog Squad Ambassadors so step forward to claim your space!
You MUST have a passion for writing and getting creative on social media and you mustn’t be afraid to put yourself out there as brand YOU – the official Girl About in your area.
You don’t need to be a professional writer, content creator or photographer, but you need to have loads of enthusiasm and commitment to Girl About.
As a local Ambassador, in return for writing two brilliant blogs and/or riveting reviews and recommendations a month, which will sit on your own personal page of our beautiful brand new Girl About Travel website (girlabouttravel.co.uk), you’ll receive expert training, guidance, and support from industry professionals and, of course, your Girl About peers.
While you won’t get paid in pounds by us (although many of our Ambassadors are now able to demand payment from brands to promote their goods and services on their Instagram accounts at the Girl About Ambassador’s discretion), you’ll get invites, freebies and of course the money-can’t-buy brand leverage that comes with being part of Girl About.
You’ll also have the opportunity to write travel content for Girl About Travel, and this comes with even more exciting opportunities.
