Top 6 locations to find a real Christmas tree in and around Liverpool

The authentic feeling you get walking around 100’s of Christmas trees is the perfect way to kick off the festive season. Nothing beats that feeling of festive joy you get when you find the perfect one to take pride of place in your living room. This is something I’ve enjoyed ever since I moved into my own house 8 years ago. As I child we always had an artificial tree and although it was still very enjoyable getting it down every year and decorating it whistle listing to Christmas songs, There is just something magical about having a real tree for me. Another benefit is every morning when coming downstairs and the smell of fresh spruce hits you. I would recommend thinking about where you want to place your tree in your home and how early you plan to get it as this can affect how long it’s going to be looking fresh and full.

This is the go-to place for your real Christmas tree. This is a well-established Christmas tree farm with 1000’s trees. Whether you want one to fill your bay window. They even sell the less desirable ones for just £10 so they can fill their Christmas destiny, Pheobe would be happy. Along with the fantastic volume, they have a lot of types too and experts onsite to help you pick the perfect one. Don’t know your Normans to your Fraisers? you will find one of each type just outside the store with examples of prices. We went for a homegrown fraiser fur as this tree isn’t too spikey and ideal for small children.

As well as the fantastic array of Christmas trees they have an abundance of Christmas decorations for everyone. The kids were in their element pointing out all the lights and cute festive decorations they had set up. they even have a very festive post box which could be a good idea to post your letters to Santa if you’re going back to collect your tree.

After we picked our tree and looked at all of the amazing decorations, we all enjoyed a lovely hot chocolate by the fire in the little onsite café which has food and drinks. They even have Mulled wine and beer on tap.

In lockdown last year when the only festive place you could go was garden centre’s I took Maisie and Miles here to go pick some lights for our tree and honestly it was such a lovely experience.

The quality of Christmas products and decorations here is second to none. I’m ashamed to admit I was very tempted by an artificial tree from here as they had so many amazing ones. The Christmas displays here are fantastically festive with decorations for every taste. The main thing the kids loved here were all of the lights on display and I remember a set of light up penguins that would look lovely in front of the house.
