The day spa for kids just 30 minutes outside Liverpool

The staff are amazing with the kids, making it so much fun. I got to chill out and enjoy an oat milk latte in peace while Maisie got some VIP treatment.

The dream experience
Myself and Maisie were very kindly invited up to Marshmallow kids spa and salon. Located in the postcard-perfect village of Halsall in Ormskirk it’s only 30 minutes outside of Liverpool and 15 minutes away from Southport.
For our invite we were treated to “The Dream Experience” and it truly was a dream. This Duchess & grown-up package included some fizz on arrival, we then got some Manor House robes and slippers.
After settling in we got to make our own face mask which Maisie thoroughly enjoyed making and caking all over her face. All the face masks are made with edible and organic ingredients so if like Maisie you know the kids will end up licking it off it’s totally okay.
Once we relaxed with our face mask’s mummy got to relax and unwind with a foot soak and pedicure. I love a good foot soak and after a busy half term, this is exactly what I needed. Maisie was over the moon adding various soaps, petals and bath bombs to her foot soak.
It was nice to sit and relax after my Pedicure watching Maisie enjoy causing chaos and then taking a dip in the bathtub ball pit. The ultimate essentials for any day spa for kids.
One thing I love about having a pamper with Maisie is watching her deliberating over nail colour like it’s her biggest decision to make. It’s so lovely to see kids so innocent where their only worries are picking nail colours.
While at the Manor where kids rule Maisie had her first real big girl haircut. I let her decide how short she wanted it. Maisie is quite an anxious kid sometimes and overthinks stuff like this. I remember her telling me she was nervous In the car on the way but the girls are so amazing at distracting them and engaging with them.
As soon as we arrived Maisie was treated like the lady of the Manor. From making up her mix of shampoo to picking her chair to sit in. The Kids do rule at Marshmallow manor and I love that.
They have something for every budget or need so wether you just want hair cuts for the kids, or you want to go all out with facials and foot spas it’s good. Some of the adult-only treatments on offer are fab too but it’s pretty handy to be able to go get your nails done and not need to worry about childcare.
They often hold events and princess parties to make sure to follow them on socials to keep up to date with anything they have got going on.
