Visitors can discover ten dazzling attractions at Christmas Light Festival including:

Sweet Street is the central spine linking all of the light attractions together. Here, visitors can indulge their senses wandering through a candy-inspired wonderland filled with delightful surprises, delicious treats and shimmering lights. The Alpine Bar, set deep within the heart of the forest, is an idyllic location to grab a drink and toast marshmallows over open fire pits, or snuggle up in Christmas cabins.

Couples can take a romantic stroll through Love Lane, where heartwarming displays create a cosy atmosphere. The North Star attraction is where dreams shine the brightest. The Enchanted Forest is a mystical world where glowing trees and friendly magical creatures come to life. The waters in the Lake of Wishes shimmer and sparkle, creating a tranquil and dramlike experience. At The Fire and Ice Show
witness the ultimate contrast of the elements, where blazing lights meet icy coolness in a spectacular display.
Other highlights include Luminair, an extraordinary light show that the night sky along with your imagination, Let’s Dance where lights and music come together for a disco experience, The Spirit of Christmas Show where light and music spectacle, which celebrates the wonder of Christmas, and Merry Magic, where visitors will discover the joy of the Christmas season, as you journey through bright lights and pine trees, creating a merry atmosphere that’s perfect for everyone.

There is also live music on the stage at the Alpine Bar, where visitors can enjoy festive tunes and seasonal favourites from the resident band in a cosy, candlelit setting, an abundance of mouthwatering festive street food and drinks including sizzling Smash Burgers, succulent Beef Brisket, and sweet treats like Hot Donuts and Fresh Toffee Apples, handcrafted Christmas boutique shops and a 33m observation wheel.

Tulleys Farm began with the aim of transporting their guests to a world of wonder and festive joy, and they certainly achieved this.

It was less busy arriving at Tulleys Farm than it is during Shocktober Fest, where people come from all over the world for its spine-chilling thrills.

Our senses were heightened as soon as we arrived with the sound of classic Christmas tunes, the smells of fire pits, warm donuts and toasted marshmallows, and the faint sights of the lights illuminating the dark sky. I felt instantly festive walking in, and to be honest, I really hadn’t because it is still the 30th November, and I don’t allow myself to get into the Christmas spirit until at least the 1st December.

As with everything Tulleys Farm does, the festival is very well put together. It is thoughtful, and everything has a purpose. The route for the Christmas Light Festival is very clearly laid out. We leisurely strolled by some of the food and drinks vendors and down to do one of the many photo opportunities. I, of course, just had to do the All I Want For Christmas is You one.

The whole vibe of the festival is very relaxed. We spent our time walking round the attractions, starting with Sweet Street, which then splits off into Lovers Lane. It doesn’t matter which route you go, you’ll always loop back. The Enchanted Forest had some really joyful elves that interacted with us, but there weren’t a lot of characters, as you expect with Shocktober Fest. You are left to explore at your own pace, there is no pressure on the evening.

What amazed me is how they so cleverly used the natural geography of the farm to enhance the illuminations, including the cornfields and the lakes. Their innovation is outstanding.

For a birds-eye view of the light festival, I do recommend riding the observation wheel. It is £7 per adult and £5 per child, but slowly loops round three times and the panoramic views are spectacular.

We stayed at the festival for two hours and that was ample time to gently stroll all the attractions and enjoy a warm mulled wine.

I highly recommend the Christmas Light Festival, they have smashed it again with their creativity. Visits to Tulleys Farm always make you feel good for different reasons, and I left the Light Festival feeling warm, fuzzy and festive.

Book now to avoid disappointment.
Adult tickets cost from £15.95 and £10.95 for children, which I think is more than fair for the experience. You can obviously spend more buying dinner and drinks, but everything we saw was pretty reasonably priced.

Tulleys Farm Christmas Light Show runs until 23rd December 2024, 4.30p.m. – 10 p.m. each time. Don’t miss out. Book now: www.christmaslightshow.co.uk/
