You can ring our bell – The Oxford Belfry.
Our server Natalie was so warm and chatty with the children and put my Dad and I at ease about any mess or potential noise to follow. They even served my favourite Fentimans Rose Lemonade, which was a bonus as I am not drinking at the moment.
Kids were promptly given their VILP (very important little people menus) and colouring / puzzle packs to keep them well occupied throughout the meal.
We were swiftly served yummy starters of blue cheese souffle, beetroot cured smoked salmon, garlic flatbreads and grilled halloumi – a fave of mine from years of going to Cyprus.
Kids all loved their pizzas and my sea bream was nicely cooked, if a little large, as I couldn’t finish my main (for once!). Dad’s fillet steak was cooked perfectly and came with well-seasoned, chunky chips.
As the dining room filled up with groups of friends and families, we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Definitely one to remember if you want somewhere in Oxfordshire that really welcomes the whole family.
