Summer Festivals In Hertfordshire
If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to start planning which summer festivals you’d like to attend. Whether you are after a chilled eclectic vibe, family fun or a full on party atmosphere, Hertfordshire boasts a number of great events taking place over the next few months Here is a selection of just a few,
Sign Of The Times
Dates- 16 and 17 June
In its 3rd year, this festival may be young but it has an impressive line up including the Levellers, Marc Almond, Stereo MCs, Heaven 17, Squeeze and Neds Atomic Dustbin.
Location: Little Hadlam, just under 3 miles from Bishops Stortford
Price: Adult day tickets from £54.99, kids from £24.00, under 5’s free.
Todd in the Hole Festival
Dates- 14th-16th July
A Family Friendly Festival in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside featuring some of the top tribute acts, emerging talent, a kids area with circus performances, funfair attractions and lots of fun events taking place throughout the weekend, including a Chilli Eating Contests and the infamous Elvis Off !
Location: Todds Green, Stevenage
Price: Adult day tickets from £27, kids from £9.50, under 4’s free.
Folk By The Oak
Date: 16 July
This one-day festival of Folk, Roots and acoustic music has a wonderful setting of the grounds of Hatfield House. In addition to back-to-back music from award winning musicians and inspiring new talent there is are creative workshops and a dedicated family friendly area.
Location: Hatfield Park.
Price: Adult tickets from £57.50, kids from £21. Under 4’s free.
Standon Calling
Dates: 20th – 23rd July
This three day large boutique festival has a full line-up that includes a huge variety of artists and music genres – from Rick Astley and Anastacia to Melanie C, KT Tunstall and the Years And Years. In addition to great music there are loads of other things to see and do, including comedy shows, workshops, swimming pool, hot tubs, an amazing kids area, dog shows and a spectacular fancy dress parade plus lots more. This Is Our House
Date: 5th August
Considered the most exclusive dance festival, this 12 hour hedonistic event has a line-up of renown DJ’s including Seb Fontaine, Brandon Block and Alex P.
Expect fabulous outfits and a lot of glitter!
Location: Lannock Manor Farm, near Hitchin
Price: Tickets from £70 per person
