Hertfordshire’s Pumpkin Patches

Nothing screams Autumn more than a wholesome family trip to a Pumkin Patch and Hertfordshire has lots to choose from.

Willows Activity Farm Pumpkin Festival

Stroll through the farms pumpkin patch, take part in the Pumpkin Hunt and explore Gourds Grotto which has weird and wonderful Gourds, squashes and pumpkin scenes for the ultimate Halloween photo backdrop.
Tickets also includes all of the activities at Willows Activity Farm; the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground, funfair rides, shows, meet and greets, adventure play, tractor ride and inflatable fun.
Dates: 14th, and 15th plus 19th to 31st October
Price: From £19.95 per person, includes one pumpkin to take home per child

Pop Up Farm

Offering 12 acres of pumpkin picking fun located on the outskirts of Harpenden in North Herts.
Tickets are between £3.25 and £4.95 per person for day tickets, which includes access to the hay bale stack.
From 6pm there is a licenced bar and live music. Evening tickets cost £11.50 and include one pumpkin per person.

Hitchin Lavender Pumpkin Patch

Dozens of different types of pumpkins and squashes to pick from and take photos of!
Dates: 13-29 October
Tickets: £3 per person, under 2s free

Hatters Farm PYO Pumpkins

Hatters Farm PYO have grown thousands of pumpkins and squash at their Pumpkin Patch on the Hertfordshire/ Essex border. As well as pumpkin picking, there will be plenty of other activities from the Pumpkin Cannons to the Maize Maze and the Hatter’s Fun House – a spooky clown themed walkway.
Day time entrance between 9.30am and 4.30pm, Pumpkin Lates events take place between 4.00pm and 8.30pm

Tickets to the daytime pumpkin picking cost between £2 and £5

Bury Lane

Visit Bury Lane Pick Your Own Pumpkin patch, located in Melbourn on the Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire border where you can choose from a wide variety of pumpkins to pick and take home.
Dates: From 30th September.
