Halloween Activities North Wales
With so many different events going on this year for Halloween in North Wales, I have got you covered. Here is a round up for planning the perfect spoktacular Halloween for you and your family.
My kids and I love Halloween and what is scarier than haunted castles and spooky woods? North Wales has got loads of them! If you want something a bit more tame pumpkin picking and maize maze’s might be the perfect Halloween activity for you.
Pumpkin Picking
There are loads of fantastic pumpkin patches in North Wales and here are a few of my favourites. You might have to book some of them so check before you travel –
1. Bellis Brothers Wrexham – there is a spooky maize maze here also
2. Hawarden Farm Shop – you can toast marshmallows on their outdoor fires afterwards
3. Mostyn Farm Shop – something a little different? Pick their gourds at only £1 each this one will leave change for a slice of their delicious cake
4. Swans Farm Shop – dogs welcome and you can visit Lottie the pedigree pig too
Spooky Halloween Activities
1. Hafodunos Hall – There is so much going on here this Halloween. You can find a fairy and monster trail in the garden and House of Horrors in Hafodunos Hall. There is also pumpkin patch and carving competition. It open the weekend before Halloween.
2. Gwrych Castle – The Haunted Castle and Spooktacular fun fair. During the day there is a pumpkin trail, scavenger hunt, creepy creative tent and fancy dress contest and if you dare stay after dark you will find an illuminated pumpkin trail, curious characters and a Halloween challenge. Open from 25th October until 5th November.
3. Ghosts Of Greenfield – a Halloween adventure of the cursed valley at Greenfield Valley country park. The ghosts of greenfield valley will challenge you to collect the clues and break the curse.
4. Zip Worlds Ffear Fforest – the ultimate scare fest. It is a carnival themed extravaganza with the cursed coaster, clown infested nets, scream ride and nightfall. Plenty to keep teenagers and thrill seekers entertained. Over 9’s only.
Family Activities this Halloween
1. Manorafon Farm Park – pumpkin fest for all ages – pumpkin picking, carving and a spooky Halloween trail in North Wales.
2. SC2 Rhyl – Adventure play Halloween parties with spooky games and face painting
3. Spookwood at Greenwood Family Park – Scare maze, monster hunt and pumpkin patch in North Wales
4. Foel Farm Park – Pumpkin picking north wales, maize maze, scavenger hunt and drawing competition
5. Bewilderwood glorious glowing Lantern Parade – at £12.50 per person this is a wonderous light extravaganza with a spooky story to uncover. This is just over the boarder in Cheshire.
