Luxury five star country estate hotel, The Grove, has have joined forces with Everyman Cinema to provide a wonderful cinematic experience this summer.
Within their walled garden they have set up a ‘secret garden’ – a hidden-away oasis where hotel and restaurant guests can lounge back on one of the oversized bean bags and enjoy one of several brilliant movies that are being shown from Wednesday to Sunday every week until 4th September. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, films will air at 8pm, whilst from Friday to Sunday, there will be a film for general viewing at 4:30pm, followed by a later 8pm viewing, with a 12A and 15 ratings on the weekends.
The space is utterly beautiful, designed by painter and designer Josephine Hicks it features bright coloured murals, combined with stunning floral displays and twinkling string lights. Once the sun goes down it really is super romantic.
The cinema is free for hotel guests to enjoy, however if you are not lucky enough to be staying here there is still an in as tickets are also provided to those dining at The Glasshouse, The Stables or Verde Kitchen.
Cinema and dining packages start from £59 per adult and £35 per child which I think is excellent value as just dining here is an experience in itself, the buffet at the Glasshouse is something to behold- make sure you go hungry!
The Grove easy to get to, it is just a few minutes from junction 19 of the M25 or a 10 minute cab ride from Watford Junction train station.
