The Buzz Lightyear Thermos – The One He Was More Excited About Than Chocolate

There are so many Disney designs to choose from, it was actually hard to narrow it down - but we went for Buzz Lightyear (although I do now want the whole collection).
This was part of Luca’s Easter presents, and he instantly recognised Buzz and was absolutely buzzing - excuse the pun. Honestly, he was more excited about this than the chocolate.
Quick Verdict
Best for: Older toddlers and primary school kids
Price: £25
Rating: 4/5
In a nutshell:
A really fun, well-made bottle that kids will love and parents will trust not to leak. It keeps drinks cold all day and is built to last – the only downside is the lack of a straw for younger children.

First Impressions
The design is what really stands out. The Buzz Lightyear print is bright and instantly recognisable, it was an instant hit with Luca.
It feels really well made too – solid, sturdy and definitely not flimsy like some kids’ bottles.
Performance / How It Worked
The biggest win for me is that it doesn’t leak. I feel completely confident throwing this in my bag without worrying, which is a big deal when you’ve had your fair share of leaky bottles and soggy spare clothes at the bottom of your mum bag.
It keeps water ice cold all day, so it’s perfect for longer days out where you don’t want to keep refilling. With a 470ml capacity, it easily lasts a full day out.
It’s also incredibly durable. Luca has dropped it multiple times (including from his highchair), and there are no dents or damage – if anything, I was more worried about the floor. :’)!
Practicality
It’s really easy to use, the button to open the lid is simple – it just pings open.
Cleaning is easy too. The wide drinking spout makes it easy to get a brush in, and the lid comes apart so you can properly clean and sanitise it. There aren’t any awkward areas where grime can build up, which is always a concern with kids’ bottles.
The only issue for us is the spout. It doesn’t come with a straw, which I hadn’t realised, and Luca hasn’t quite mastered drinking from it yet. We’ve been adding our own straw from another bottle to make it easier.
Is It Worth the Money?
At £25, it’s definitely not the cheapest water bottle out there.
But it’s Disney, it’s very well made, and most importantly – it doesn’t leak. For me, that alone makes a huge difference. We’ve gone through so many bottles over time that anything reliable is worth investing in.
Who It’s Best For
This product is ideal for:
Primary school children or older toddlers who can use a spout, Disney fans, and parents looking for a reliable, leakproof bottle
It may not suit:
Younger toddlers who prefer or need a straw
Final Verdict
Overall, this is a really fun, durable and practical bottle that does exactly what you need it to do. It keeps drinks cold, survives drops, and most importantly – doesn’t leak, and it’s DISNEY!!!!
Just bear in mind the spout if you’ve got a younger child, but for older kids, it’s a really great, and fun option!
