Here is just a small selection of some of the fantastic events taking place. Start booking and plan your best summer ever.
DogFest
When: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June Where: Knebworth House
A must-visit for dog lovers , this fun two day event features amazing activities, expert advice, and unforgettable experiences for you and your four-legged friends. With dog diving, agility courses, and fun dog shows, talks from leading trainers, vets and pet experts plus a shopping village, live music and street food.

Try Fest
When: Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June Where: Letchworth
80s, 90s, 00s Theme festival taking place over two days. Live acts, DJs and bands, open air stages, big top tent and dance arenas. Music includes Funk / Soul / Rnb / UK Garage / Ibiza House and Britpop.
Performers include Jo Whiley, Judge Jules, Roni Size, Martin Kemp and Artful Dodger.

WGC Vintage Festival
When: Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June Where: Welwyn Garden City Town Centre
Over 100 top internationally acclaimed musicians, singers, DJs, performers, Swing, Lindy Hop, Jive, Rock n Roll dancers, dance instructors , dance classes, vintage & classic cars, fashion, vintage stalls and children’s entertainers across 5 stages and arenas filling the Welwyn Garden City town centre streets with vintage entertainment for a whole weekend.
Chill Fest
When Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July Where: Cow Lane, Tring
Set in the picturesque Chiltern Hills, Chilfest is the ultimate tribute and throwback festival. Friday’s lineup consists of tribute bands including Noasis, The Marley Experience, Blur2 and Duran. On Saturday bands include Kim Wilde, Adam Ant, Hoosiers and Bandon Block.
Tickets cost from £32 for adults and £16 for kids (age 16 and under), or family tickets for £80 for two adults and two kids.

Taste Of The Caribbean, Watford
When: Saturday 12th July Where: Cassiobury Park, Watford
The sounds and tastes of the Caribbean are coming to Cassiobury Park in Watford in July.
Taste a range of tantalising Caribbean cuisines such as jerk chicken, Ackee & Saltfish, curried goat, fried dumplings and much more, all washed down with a rum punch or two.
Reggae, R&B and Motown

Todd In The Hole
When Friday 11th Sunday 13th July Where: Bury Wood, Todd’s Green
A family friendly festival running over three days, six stages hosting more than 80 artists, with top-tier tribute acts along with fabulous local talent and up and coming artists.
As well as great music, the festival has a vintage funfair and kids arena.
And for those visiting without kids, don’t miss the fantastic after parties in the woods that go on into the night.
Day tickets from £29.50 for adults, £22.50 for tens (13-17) and £9.30 for kids (3-12). Under 3s are free.
Hatfield Park Battle Proms
When: Saturday 19th July Where: Hatfield
A vintage summer spectacular with music, fireworks, spitfires, parachutes, canons and cavalry. Considered one of the best summer proms in the country, taking place in the Queen Elizabeth Oak Field in beautiful Hatfield Park. Bring your own picnic and drinks, don’t forget the Pimms!

St Albans Comedy Garden
When: 24th– 27th July Where: Verulamium Park, St Albans

Campo Sancho

Campo Sancho is a boutique festival with a world-class lineup and deep roots in UK dance culture. This year’s artists include Optimo, Crazy P, Luke Una, Tigerbalm, Lisa Loud, Aroop Roy, Tia Cousins, Grace Sands & more
The festival has entertainment for the kids with a dedicated Kids Factory, Teen Spirit zone, circus shows, workshops, and roaming performers.

Zimfest
When: Saturday 26th July Where: Herts Showground, Dunstable Road, St Albans
Zimfest is the ultimate celebration of Zimbabwean music, art, culture, and the infectious rhythms of Amapiano! This epic event will feature some of the biggest names in the scene, bringing together vibrant performances, cultural exhibitions, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Magic Meadows Festival
When: Saturday 26th July Where: Home Farm Glamping, Elstree
This wholesome immersive family festival which takes place in the stunning grounds of Home Farm Glamping offers a wide range of joyful, hands-on experiences in nature. Activities include theatre, live music, dance, arts and crafts, creative writing, wellness, bushcraft, and more.

Big JiveSwing Festival
When: 27 July Where: Cassiobury Park, Watford
This is an annual free event. With performances taking place at the Band Stand from many internationally reclaimed jazz musicians, bands and dancers, you’d be mad to miss out. This afternoon extravaganza will also put on family dance classes so the little ones can stay smiling and shimmying throughout the day. Rootstock

A forest skills , mythcraft and movement camp in a secret countryside location.
A forest skills, myth work and movement festival where you can re-learn the skills our ancestors knew which helped them connect with nature. It’s a week-long camp with evening meals provided. Expect the unexpected: delightful offerings, quiet moments in nature, wild dancing.

House and Classics Festival
When Saturday 9th August Where: Metropolitan Bushey
Glow sticks and dancing shoes at the ready! Organisers of hugely successful club nights, House and Classics, are putting on a one-day festival of dance music in Bushey, West Hertfordshire. Star DJs include Todd Terry, Ratpack, Alex P, Brandon Block, Soul Avenderz, Jason Herd and many others.

Pub In The Park, St Albans
When- 5-7 September Where: St Albans
Chef Tom Kerridge’s popular Pub In The Park event returns to St Albans in September, running over three days combing live music and mouth-watering food.
Music acts include Dizzee Rascal, Gok Wan, Daniel Bedingfield, Ministry of Sound Classical, Squeeze and Alfie Boe plus many others.
The massive line-up of chefs sees some of the hottest new names in the food world, TV favourites, and highly acclaimed Michelin-starred heroes given speeches and demonstrations. There are also many award-winning and Michelin-starred eateries where you can feast the day away.
