Liverpool meets Belgium with great beer and delicious food.

Having previously been to Brussels I can vouch that Belgium beer is the best and the beers on offer in Belgica didn’t disappoint. My other half was very impressed with the selection and took advantage to try them all. You have to try the strawberry beer while you’re here its so good.

One of the main things I loved about the bar is the interior, the vibe is very Instagram worthy which I think is what the aim is these days isn’t it, I mean if it didn’t go on Instagram did it even happen?

The location is great too in right in the middle of lots of other bars and restaurants however you could stay in here all night as it’s split over two floors. After some amazing food and beers you can then go downstairs for great music and drinks with a second bar downstairs.

The food here is so delicious, very authentic Belgian menu with a slight scouse twist to it. I had a Pate and chutney starter while mark had croquettes with the most amazing sauce. Then Burgers with Belgium Fries, these fries where cooked to perfection. To finish we had Belgian waffles with biscoff sauce and cream. Perfect end to the night.

My other half mark is still talking about the burger now a week later so I think we will be going back sometime soon for a burger, beer and good vibes. I recommend the next time you’re in Liverpool you give it a visit.
