New for Summer 2026, the luxury Hyatt resort has launched guided horse-riding adventures through Santorini’s vineyards, dramatic coastline and archaeological sites, alongside indulgent floating breakfasts served in guests’ private pools, offering a fresh take on slow, restorative travel.

For those keen to explore beyond the resort, one- and two-hour horse-riding excursions take guests through Santorini’s rugged countryside, volcanic vineyards and the striking landscapes around Akrotiri. The route winds towards the lunar-like cliffs of Vlychada Beach and the peaceful shores of Eros Beach, passing traditional Greek architecture, archaeological sites and the Chapel of St Anna along the way. Back at Magma, mornings can start at a decidedly slower pace with the resort’s new Floating Breakfast, served in the privacy of guests’ own pools. There are four menus to choose from, including the Greek Harvest Wellness Breakfast, which celebrates locally sourced ingredients alongside cold-pressed juices and chia bowls. For a more indulgent start to the day, the Champagne and Romance Breakfast includes caviar with blinis, lobster and asparagus quiche bites and a bottle of bubbles – an especially lovely option for a celebration or special occasion.
Guests can also get a taste of Santorini’s rich winemaking heritage with a private vineyard experience led by the resort’s sommelier. Surrounded by greenery and coastal views, the tasting brings together a selection of premium Santorinian wines with carefully chosen small bites, offering a relaxed and intimate way to discover some of the island’s distinctive flavours.

As evening falls, Astra Lounge provides a beautiful setting for a private dinner beneath the stars. Guests can enjoy a multi-course menu inspired by authentic Greek cuisine, accompanied by dedicated butler service and sweeping views across the Aegean Sea.
