Hi there, I’m Sally the owner and editor at the Girl About Travel Magazine.

I’m a lifelong Leeds lass, and a travel content creator with a passion for UK breaks, road trips and slow adventures that don’t cost the earth.

These days, I spend much of my free time exploring the UK in my campervan with my extreme cycling husband and my two dogs, seeking out cool & quirky campsites, scenic routes and dog-friendly stays. I'm a huge advocate for greener travel options, vegan food finds and destinations that do things a little more thoughtfully.

Mum to three young adults, I believe that travel should be about making meaningful memories, whether that’s a weekend away, a city break or a solo adventure.

If you’ve got excellent vegan options, strong sustainability credentials, a warm welcome for dogs or something a bit quirky or adrenaline-fuelled, then I'm interested. My readers are mostly women in their 30s and beyond who love to explore deeply, travel consciously and get under the skin of a destination. Oh, and they probably enjoy the odd cocktail!
