The initial line-up of events has just been announced and I can't wait to check some of them out. Each are individual, artfully curated outdoor events providing a fun and unique summer experience within a gorgeous countryside setting.
At Home Farm’s Summer Events in Hertfordshire
At Home Farm consists of a series of intimate outdoor events taking place over the summer, ranging from family friendly day festivals to live music performances and wild dining experiences.
At Home Farm will be holding three magical evenings of live performance on its secluded woodland stage in July.
This is an atmospheric live music venue like no other in Hertfordshire. Guests enjoy delicious pre-show dining nestled around Home Farm’s mighty Oak, followed by enchanting musical performances on the fairy-lit Woodland Stage surrounded by century’s old trees and a private lake.
Bruno Major will perform on 21 August. His music combines his classical guitar training with electronic production and a touch of soul.
Also performing as part of the series of concerts are artists from world famous Jazz Club, Ronnie Scott’s. Vocalist Vanessa Haynes will perform Aretha Franklin Queen of Soul on 12th July and Izo Fitroy will bring her powerful blend of soul, gospel and blues on 23rd August.
Ben Quinn’s Woodfired Canteen will return to At Home Farm this year with an outstanding line-up of chefs for its utterly joyous long table outdoor dining experience. Quinn will collaborate with Chefs Adriana Cavita, Josh Katz and DJ BBQ to create bespoke banquets that beautifully marry each chef's signature style with Quinn’s expertise in fire cookery.
Diners will enjoy these delicious feasts at banqueting tables under At Home Farm’s giant atmospheric tipi hats with views overlooking the meadow. Each ticket includes a welcome drink, light taster nibbles and a three-course meal.
Adriana Cavita will be hosting a Mexican-inspired wild banquet on 25th September. Acclaimed chef Josh Katz will return for the second year to showcase his signature bold flavours and bright colours on 26th September and on 27th September Barbeque Cook DJ BBQ brings a culinary experience like no other with a unique blend of food, fun and energy.
New to the At Home Farm programme for 2024 is Wild Oak Meadows Family Festival which takes place on 13th July.
The festival will consist of children’s theatre, live music, storytelling sessions, face painting and creative crafting workshops. Celebrating the beautiful outdoors, children will be able to have a go at tree climbing and zip lining, as well as wholesome Forest School activities in Home Farm’s woodlands and meadow.
