Everyman Cinema – Bringing luxury to your cinema experience
Everyman Cinema brings luxury to your typical cinema experience. Being able to order food and drinks to your seat, such as; burgers, pizza, wine and cocktails. The comfy sofa style seats are also a bonus, being able to choose from a single seat or to take a double seat and grab the perfect opportunity to snuggle up next to your date if you want to!
Having never been to an Everyman Cinema before and not knowing what to expect, I was speechless the whole time. When we got to the venue we were greeted by the waiting staff who told us when the screen would open and we could choose to order now or wait until we got to our seats. There was so much to choose from so we decided to have a look through the menu and order later.
We decided to share some of the small plates we went for; padron peppers, buttermilk chicken and tempura prawns. Then as a sweet treat we tried the everything popcorn which is the choice of sweet, salted or mixed popcorn with M&M’s, salted pretzels, mini marshmallows and honeycomb bites.
To accompany our food we both went for a coke, but there were lots of alcoholic options (wine, beer, cider, spirits and cocktails) and also mocktails and hot drinks. There is a range of savoury food options but also for people who have more of a sweet tooth then there are sundaes, milkshakes, cakes and cookie dough. Also if you are catching a morning viewing of a film you can enjoy a pastry with hot drink making it the perfect start to your day.
When we were seated on the screen, a member of the waiting team came over to us to take our order and it was all served to us straight to our seats. Before the film started a member of staff made an announcement that the film was about to begin and if we wanted to order anything else we could go to the bar. Then it was time to settle in and watch our film.
This cinema experience was like nothing I have ever experienced at all and I’m already excited for when I can return. Overall, an Everyman cinema is the perfect location if you’re looking for a mix up for your date night or to go for a special occasion such as an anniversary. You can also hire a screen for your next event as well. Price-wise you do very much pay for the luxury and the experience, but in my opinion it is worth it especially for an occasion.
