The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show 2026 at the NEC Birmingham

Hey Campers!

We've put together a little hitlist ahead of the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC in Birmingham. It's a mammoth-scale event, so here's some information you might find useful!

Mum Guilt

First up, we’ve decided to swarm in the babysitter (a.k.a Grandma), as I didn’t realise how family-friendly this event would be. Looking at what’s on, I’m realising this was a big mistake – big, huge! And I can’t go back on my word now – grandma will kill me.

This is a show big enough to house its own POOL. That’s right – in the rear of Hall 5 is a Water-sports Pool where you can try paddle-boarding and kayaking for free. Now, as someone who is dying to have a go at this, I’m hoping I have enough time to try. I am taking a towel in the very likely event I’ll fall in; balance is not my strong point.

Tickets are available for the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2026, the event runs from 17th February to 22 February

If water-sports aren’t your thing, Hall 4 is the place to be. Here you will find axe throwing (free), bushcraft talks, and “meet the creatures” (a chance to see some wonderful – or creepy, depending on how you feel about creatures – reptiles, arachnids and other animals).

Honestly, if you have kids, or are a big kid yourself, head to Hall 4.

Our Hitlist

It’s highly unlikely you will get around every single stand, so I wanted to shine a spotlight on some of our favourites. It’s been great to chat to the businesses ahead of the show, some of which are just starting up. One business backstory that stuck with me was the tale about the fishing trip (and unlike the fishing trip in Gavin & Stacey, this one didn’t remain a mystery) …

Alogfire: Stylish outdoor fire pits and fire solutions

The Butterfly Effect is crazy, because if co-founder Danny and his business partner hadn’t gone on a fishing trip five years ago and been totally frustrated by the fact they couldn’t make a basic bacon sarnie at 3am – thanks to the wind and an unstable camping stove, we might not have been graced with the Alogfire Mini Campfire – the world’s first stylish, compact, portable gas fire.

I saw this at a previous show and was really impressed by the sleek design and the warm cosy glow it gives off, but what impressed me even more was the anti-tilt safety feature. The flame was very much flaming, but when the unit was picked up and tilted to the side, the flame was extinguished. I think this is genius, especially as I’m a mum to a toddler who charges about like a man on a mission.

I also loved how lightweight it is (2.2kg if anyone is wondering). As someone who buys a lot of things for the caravan and gets repeatedly warned by her husband that “we only have a small weight limit!!”, this isn’t just welcome news – it’s ammunition when he asks what I want for my birthday.

NEC silwy caravan show

Silwy U.K: Never again falling, sliding, or clattering dishware, space-saving magnetic storage systems

Silwy are new to the U.K industry but hugely successful across Europe. Their name seems to be on everybody’s lips right now, and for good reason. We prayed to the storage gods and our prayers have been answered. Silwy specialise in magnetic storage solutions, so you don’t have to worry about your crockery and glasses sliding around the caravan every time you travel. Not only does their system make everything look aesthetically pleasing, it actually saves time when packing up before hitting the road.

Their range of products is impressive – hooks, crockery, glasses, mugs and even lamps. My favourite though? The salt and pepper shakers. A luxury I’ve never afforded myself in the caravan after my salt shaker spilt in the cupboard on the way to a week-long trip. We could taste salt in every morning cuppa that week (I know, get the violins out), and I’m still finding little granules even now – it gets everywhere.

Their patented design makes caravanning so much easier – I want to Silwy my entire caravan!

Isabella: Awnings, trailer tents, and camping equipment for every type of tourer

No show would be complete without me checking out Isabella – there’s just something about their stand that always catches my eye, and everyone else’s. I was blown away when I visited at a previous show. Visitors can expect seasonal and touring caravan full and porch awnings, the new Ventura Air awnings range for caravans, and awnings for motorhomes and campervans in the Isabella and Ventura ranges.

The full range of accessories and furniture will also be on display, along with new 2026 products, including the sought after cooler box and beach trolley – and let me tell you, this trolley is amazing. You can fit a toddler in it along with all your beach accessories, plus the wheels are big enough to tackle the dreaded beach sand. I was so impressed with this trolley when I saw it last month. We could have really done with it at Pinewoods, where our very cheap trolley couldn’t pull on the sand. We had to take an end each and carry it, which completely defeated the point! You live and you learn folks.

NEC camping and caravanning show

Barefoot Caravans: Country living meets caravan

My absolute favourite caravans on the planet, for their retro-inspired design, pretty pastels and chic aesthetics. You cannot go to this event without swinging by this stand – I have never seen anything like them before. From the outside these caravans just look beautiful – I wish all caravans looked like this. Rounded shape, pretty colours, so far removed from the traditional white box on wheels. Stepping into a Barefoot Caravan is like stepping into a stylish mini-tardis.

It’s hard to believe from the outside that inside lies a fully fitted kitchen (equipped with all the necessities including a 3-bottle wine rack), lounge/sleeping area with comfortable U-shape seating, and curved bathroom.  At the event, Barefoot will be showcasing their hugely popular Country Living Barefoot Caravan and their Black Edition Barefoot Eclipse. They will also be showcasing the Barefoot Bothy, which has already won not one, but two awards, for Small/Micro Caravan of the Year 2026.

It’s refreshing to see caravans with a huge personality – by straying from the norm they have managed to design the most charming home on wheels.

Camptech & Suntrek: Trusted awning specialists with exciting new launches for 2026

I’m so excited to see the Suntrek range in person this year. Camptech Products Limited are back with a brilliant line-up, showcasing some of their most loved models including the Starline Elite, Buckingham DL, Savanna DL and Kensington, alongside an impressive range of motor awnings.

They’ll also be unveiling something brand new for 2026 – the Westminster CS, which is definitely one to look out for if you’re thinking ahead to future touring seasons. 2026 is also a big year for Suntrek, as for the first time they’ll have their very own dedicated stand. You’ll be able to see their hugely popular Easy Pitch range, the all-new Neptune, and their ever-popular Pandora Windbreaks all in one place. If you have a toddler in tow like we do – the easy pitch range is definitely one to have a look at.

As always, you can expect great show deals, freebies and giveaways, so it’s well worth stopping by for a proper look around.
