All You Can Buffet In Bournemouth - Cosmo World Cuisine
I had a great evening recently at Cosmo all you can eat buffet in Bournemouth trying out a variety of world cuisines.
Cosmo has restaurants all over the UK, so if you’re not local to Bournemouth you can find a buffet close to you so you won’t miss out.
Cosmo is known for offering a wide range of cuisine from all over the world at a fixed price for as much as you can eat, so if your appetite is big you will not be disappointed.
Cosmo all you can eat buffet in Bournemouth is centrally located, just a short walk from the town centre and Bournemouth Beach.
Seating is in quieter booths or large tables suitable for parties or big families, the decor has an oriental type feel with floral decorations hanging from the ceilings and provides a relaxed casual dining experience.
The beauty of an all you can eat buffet, is you are not having to choose from a menu, limiting yourself to just one dish. Here if you want to start with a Chinese duck pancake, move on to a selection of Indian mains or a Roast Carvery you can, or you can have all of it if you have a big appetite.
I chose a few Chinese starters including some duck which was freshly cooked and served along side cucumber and spring onion with lashings of plum sauce, I really enjoyed the beef with green pepper and black bean sauce, it was surprisingly tender. A concern of mine is that food in a buffet will be chewy but it really wasn’t, the food is continually being cooked and replaced so I always found it fresh and tender.
I tried a few of the Indian chicken dishes for my main, the butter chicken was really succulent and tasty and my favourite was the mushrooms and Bombay potatoes.
I am not a seafood fan but the freshly cooked prawns and fish on the teppanyaki grill looked really good.
There are lots of vegetable accompaniments so if you are a non meat eater you will find lots of dishes to suit your taste.
The highlight for many diners was the chocolate fountain with an array of sweets and marshmallows to dip into the gooey chocolatey goodness.
No all you can eat buffet in Bournemouth is complete without a selection of yummy desserts, there were chocolate coated mini doughnuts, mousses, cakes and fruits. All in little portions to try, you can always go back for your favourites. I especially enjoyed the Eton Mess cake which was creamy & fruity and hit the spot after the mains.
My husband loved the sweet and sour chicken and teppanyaki prawns and took full advantage of the refillable soft drink.
The price is fixed being slightly cheaper in the week with a few pounds more at weekends, this is great as there is no adding up who had what at the end.
We were constantly checked on to see how we were doing, and if all was ok with our experience, the plates were cleared quickly and everything was very clean and well organised.
The nature of an all you can eat buffet in Bournemouth is that it is quite a busy affair, but other than a little queue at the chocolate fountain you could always go up and get what you wanted within minutes. This is great if you are hungry, no waiting around for orders to be taken and food to be cooked. It’s all ready as soon as you are!
Overall the buffet in Bournemouth is very good value for money especially for bigger appetites. For those with smaller appetites I’d recommend savouring the freshly grilled seafood with a selection of veggies with fruit to follow.
